The digital modem is a battery powered, light-weight, field use standalone device that is capable of encoding and decoding various popular digital modes on ham radio bands. With a built-in high performance DSP core, the modem helps to demodulate and modulate the various ham radio digital modes without a PC. This handy device uses a graphic display for the transmitted and received text data, as well as for showing band spectrum and tuning. Connect it to your small and lightweight SSB transceivers like FT-8×7, KX3 or other QRP rigs, plug in a USB PC keyboard, a portable digital station is ready to go.
